Nigerian army has said that over two hundred Boko Haram terrorists have surrendered in Banki town, Borno state.
Nigerian Army shared this on its twitter handle on Friday, September 25.

#BreakingNews! Over 200 Boko Haram terrorists have just surrendered to Nigerian troops in Banki. #OperationLafiyaDole

Liberated Banki residents

The soldiers had earlier claimed to have destroyed 7 Boko Haram camps and successfully detonated 7 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). The troops also claimed to have discovered and detonated 13 IEDs between Darel Jamal and Banki.
