A bizarre wedding which took place in a Thailand community, reveals a man getting married to his dead girlfriend so as to enable her meet God as a married woman. According to the reports gotten from a Thai website, Chadil Deffy and Sarinya Kamsook had been dating for a period of 10 years after meeting at the University as undergraduates.
However, when Sarinya asked Deffy to marry her, he refused citing some work load and other family difficulties. 
Just shortly after he rebuffed her, Sarinya got involved in a terrible accident which claimed her life. In the quest to do the right thing, Deffy decided to marry her even in death so as for her to meet God as a married woman.
